In the Name of Jesus: Reflections on Christian Leadership

Henri Nouwen reflects on the temptations that often distort Christian leadership: the desire to be relevant, spectacular, and powerful. Drawing on the temptations of Jesus and his own ministry experience, he proposes a different model rooted in prayer, confession, theological reflection, and shared life in community.

Though brief, the book presses leaders to examine the source of their identity and influence. It offers pastors, ministry leaders, and Christian men a compelling reminder that faithful leadership grows from intimacy with Christ and from serving alongside others rather than standing above them.
