MBF Volunteers

When you land on this page, you are looking at the core team of Men Building Faith. This is where writers, tech‑minded builders, social leaders, and future podcast guests raise their hand and say, “I want to help men walk closer with God.” If you sense that same pull, you are in the right place. Take a look at the roles below, pray through where you fit, and apply for the spot that lines up with how God has wired you. Every application is reviewed, and once approved you will receive an email with your login details and next steps so you can start serving.

1. Contributors

Create biblical, practical content for men through articles, devotionals, and prayers. Pastors and ministry leaders are welcome, but any mature believer who can write clearly and faithfully may apply.

2. Admin / Tech (Wix)

Support the ministry behind the scenes by helping build and maintain Wix pages, organize CMS collections, and format/publish content so men can easily find what they need online.

3. Social Media Manager

Plan, create, schedule, and track content across social platforms to help more men discover Men Building Faith, engage with daily content, and connect back to the website and email list.

4. Podcast Guests

Join recorded conversations that point men to Christ through Scripture, real stories, and practical wisdom, speaking directly to the real pressures and challenges men face today.

1. Volunteer Contributor
(Biblical Content for Men Building Faith)

Men Building Faith is looking for contributors who feel called to serve men through solid, biblical content that is honest, clear, and practical for real life. You will have your own section on our website just for you.

Role Summary
You will create written content that helps men walk with God in the middle of pressure, temptation, pain, and everyday life. Your work may appear as blog posts, devotionals, prayers, or entries in resources like The Hard Days Handbook.

What you’ll do

  • Write original, Bible‑anchored articles, prayers, or reflections for men

  • Speak to real issues men face, such as temptation, leadership, marriage, fatherhood, mental and emotional battles, and spiritual drift

  • Follow MBF’s biblical and theological guardrails so content is Christ‑centered and aligned with our statement of faith

  • Submit content on an agreed schedule, such as 1–2 pieces per month

  • Receive and apply editorial feedback for clarity, structure, and tone

Who this is for

  • Pastors, ministry leaders, counselors, and disciplers who regularly handle Scripture and shepherd people

  • Mature believers who can write clearly and faithfully, even if they are not in vocational ministry

  • Men or women who respect the mission of speaking directly to men, without fluff, hype, or gimmicks

Preferred qualities

  • Strong grasp of Scripture and sound doctrine

  • Ability to communicate to men in plain, direct language

  • Willingness to write under the Men Building Faith voice and guidelines

  • Humility to be edited and to serve the reader first, not personal platform

2. Volunteer Admin / Tech
(Wix & Site Support)
Men Building Faith runs on a Wix‑based website that delivers daily prayers, Scripture, and long‑form resources like The Hard Days Handbook to men around the world. We need technical helpers who can keep the site clean, organized, and growing.

Role Summary
You will help build and maintain pages, collections, and basic content systems inside Wix so the site runs smoothly and new content can be published consistently.

What you’ll do

  • Edit and create pages in Wix using MBF’s existing design and layout

  • Help manage CMS collections for blog posts, classes, and resources as needed

  • Format and publish content provided by the founder or contributors, including articles, prayers, and resource pages

  • Maintain basic site organization, menus, and internal links so men can easily find what they need

  • Assist with simple integrations such as forms, sign‑ups, or basic automations (training can be provided)

Who this is for

  • People who are already comfortable inside Wix, or quick learners who enjoy building and organizing websites

  • Detail‑oriented helpers who like structure, checklists, and cleaning up digital clutter

  • Servants at heart who are happy being “behind the scenes” so the content can shine

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Wix editor and basic CMS/collections

  • Eye for simple, clean layout and mobile‑friendly design

  • Ability to follow brand guidelines for fonts, colors, and voice

  • Clear communication and reliability with deadlines

3. Volunteer Social Media Manager
Men Building Faith needs a social media lead who can help more men discover the daily prayers, stories, and resources that are already being created. This is not about hype. It is about reaching men where they are and inviting them into something deeper with God.

Role Summary
You will plan, create, post, and track content across MBF’s social platforms to increase visibility, engagement, and connection to the website and email list, similar to social roles used in church and ministry settings.

What you’ll do

  • Develop a simple social content plan that highlights daily Scripture, prayers, blog posts, and key resources like The Hard Days Handbook

  • Create and schedule posts (graphics, short captions, short video clips where available) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or others as appropriate

  • Coordinate with the founder and contributors to repurpose written content into social posts

  • Monitor comments and basic messages, flagging pastoral or sensitive issues for the founder or pastoral team

  • Track basic performance metrics like reach, saves, clicks, and follows, then adjust content accordingly

Who this is for

  • Someone who understands social media culture but wants to use it for discipleship and ministry rather than noise

  • A believer who shares the heart for men’s discipleship and the tone of MBF

  • Organized self‑starter who can work from a content calendar and meet weekly posting goals

Preferred skills

  • Experience managing social media pages for a church, ministry, or brand is ideal, but not required

  • Familiarity with basic design tools or templates for simple graphics

  • Strong sense of clarity and brevity in writing captions

  • Comfort reviewing analytics and learning what works over time

4. Podcast Guests
Men Building Faith is inviting podcast guests who can speak honestly, biblically, and practically to the real pressures men face today, in line with our mission to build strong, godly men.

Role Summary
You will join the Men Building Faith podcast for recorded conversations that point men to Christ through Scripture, real stories, and practical wisdom for daily life.

What you’ll do

  • Share your personal story, testimony, and experience in a way that serves men who are struggling, growing, or leading

  • Teach or discuss specific themes such as identity, temptation, marriage, fatherhood, emotional health, leadership, calling, or recovery, always rooted in Scripture

  • Engage in an honest, conversational interview format rather than delivering a sermon or lecture, so listeners feel like they are sitting at the table with us

  • Prepare ahead of time with a clear topic, 3–5 key takeaways, and any Scriptures that anchor what you plan to share

  • Help extend the reach of the episode by sharing it with your own network once it is released

Who this is for

  • Pastors, ministry leaders, counselors, coaches, and disciple‑makers who actively walk with men in real life

  • Authors, entrepreneurs, and professionals with a clear, Christ‑centered story that will strengthen and challenge men

  • Everyday believers with a powerful story of God’s faithfulness in areas like addiction, restoration, calling, or suffering

Preferred qualities

  • Clear, Christ‑centered theology and a life that reflects what you teach

  • Willingness to talk honestly about both victories and scars, not just platforms and successes

  • Ability to stay on topic, respect time, and focus on serving the listener rather than self‑promotion

Thank You!

Thank you for stepping forward to serve with Men Building Faith. Your willingness to invest your time, gifts, and story into helping men walk closer with Christ means more than you know, and we do not take it lightly.

Every application is personally reviewed so we can protect the tone, theology, and integrity of what we offer to men. This approval process helps us ensure that everyone serving with Men Building Faith is aligned in heart, doctrine, and purpose, whether you are writing, supporting the tech, serving on social, or joining us as a podcast guest.

Once your application is approved, you will receive a follow‑up email with your login details and any next steps you need to get started. That email will include how to access your account, basic guidelines for your role, and where to reach out if you have questions or need support as you begin serving.
