A Prayer to Reignite My Connection to Jesus

For the man who feels distant from God and longs to reconnect with Jesus on a deeper, more personal level.
Heavenly Father,
I confess that my heart feels distant from You today. The spark that once burned brightly feels dim, and I miss the closeness we once shared. I want more than routine, I want relationship. I want to walk with You, not just believe in You. I want my life to bear fruit that comes from staying connected to the true Vine.
Help me slow down and truly seek You, not just through obligation, but with hunger. Strip away distractions, dullness, and spiritual fatigue. Draw me in, even when I don’t know how to move forward. Speak to my heart in the silence, in the Scripture, and in my daily moments. Reignite what feels cold and make it burn again with purpose.
Let this be the day I return—not to religion, but to deep, abiding connection with You. I believe You’re waiting for me, even now. Thank You for never letting go.
