For the Man in the Storm

For the Man in the Storm

Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

Wednesday, June 11, 2025

For men in the middle of a storm—this prayer anchors you in God's protection and reminds you where real strength comes from.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

The storm is loud right now. Everything around me feels uncertain, my thoughts, my plans, my emotions. I’ve tried to stand strong, but I’m tired. I need a place to rest that won’t collapse. I need more than relief. I need You.

Be my refuge today. Cover me from the chaos. Help me stop trying to outrun the storm and instead find shelter in Your presence. Fill me with strength that doesn’t come from adrenaline, but from trust. Remind me that I don’t have to figure everything out before I rest in You.

You are not far off. You are right here, in the middle of this moment. Be my calm in the swirl of confusion. Be my rock when everything else is shaking. I choose to stop running, and start resting in You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
