Held Through the Grief

Held Through the Grief

For the man carrying loss, disappointment, or sorrow who needs reassurance that God has not abandoned him.

White Textured Paper

Lord, help me trust You when grief weighs heavier than words. Remind me that sorrow does not mean separation from You and that hardship does not cancel Your compassion. Give me strength to face what hurts without shutting down or pulling away from You. Let Your unfailing love steady me when emotions feel unpredictable.

Teach me to walk through this season with honesty and hope together. Help me believe that You are still present even when clarity feels distant. Shape my heart to receive Your compassion instead of resisting it. Hold me steady as I move forward, trusting that You are not finished with my story.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 40:1–2 NLT

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
