For the man who struggles to love others well—this prayer roots love in God’s love, not emotion or effort.
Heavenly Father,
You loved me first, not because I earned it, but because You chose me. That truth changes everything. I don’t have to strive for love. I get to live from it.
Teach me to love like You do, without keeping score, without needing to be repaid, without waiting for someone to deserve it. Let Your love flow through me into my relationships today.
When it’s hard to forgive, remind me how You forgave me. When it’s hard to be patient, remind me of Your mercy. Shape my heart into Yours.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
