Let Perseverance Work

Let Perseverance Work

James 1:2–4 (NIV)

Thursday, July 31, 2025

For the man who’s tired of the trial—this prayer helps him trust that God is using it to build something deeper and lasting within him.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

Sometimes I just want the trial to end. But Your Word tells me that what I’m going through isn’t pointless—it’s producing something in me. Perseverance. Strength. Maturity. So today, I choose to trust the process.

Give me joy—not because life is easy, but because I believe You’re using every test to shape me into the man You created me to be. Help me not to quit too early. Let perseverance finish its work in me.

I want to come out of this stronger, wiser, and more complete—not lacking anything.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

James 1:2-4 (NIV)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
