Heavenly Father,


You warned me not to let my heart grow heavy with the distractions of this life. Keep me from the traps of careless living and from numbing my struggles with false escapes. Teach me to stay watchful, to keep my eyes on You, and to walk in integrity each day. Help me live prepared, ready for Your return, with a heart that longs for Your kingdom above all else.
