Sharpen Our Brotherhood
A prayer for men to sharpen each other in faith
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for connecting us as brothers in Christ. We recognize that on our own we can become dull and ineffective, but You designed us to grow stronger together. Help us to be honest about our weaknesses and open to Your work through others.
Lord, give us courage to speak truth in love to one another. Help us to accept correction, encouragement and accountability from our brothers. Teach us to sharpen each other's faith, character and discipline so that we reflect Your strength in our families, workplaces and communities.
As iron sharpens iron, may our friendships point us back to You. Guide us to build relationships that challenge us spiritually and draw us closer to Christ. We ask that through our bonds we become better men for Your glory.
