1 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV)

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

Flee From It

This verse isn’t a suggestion – it’s a command. God says to flee sexual immorality, not negotiate with it, manage it, or fight it alone. Sexual sin is different because it damages your own soul, mind, and body. What you do with your body affects your entire spiritual life.

As men, we often underestimate lust’s grip. We think we can handle it quietly, but scripture is clear: run from it. Guard your eyes. Guard your thoughts. Avoid situations that put your purity at risk. God calls you to honor Him with your body because your body is His temple.

Today, make the decision to flee from whatever tempts you. Seek God’s strength to walk in purity and freedom. Remember that sexual sin doesn’t just dishonor God – it harms you deeply. But God’s grace empowers you to live in true purity and wholeness.
