Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

God’s Mercy Was New Every Morning
These words were written by the prophet Jeremiah in the middle of national disaster, sorrow, and personal pain. Despite devastation all around him, he declares that God’s mercy is the reason he hasn’t been destroyed. Even in suffering, Jeremiah holds onto this truth: God’s compassion never runs out, and His mercy resets every single morning.
For men facing shame, burnout, or spiritual fatigue, this verse is life-giving. No matter what happened yesterday—failure, anger, distance from God—today is a fresh start. You’re not consumed. You’re still here. That means God’s not done with you.
So breathe in the grace of a new day. God’s faithfulness isn’t based on your performance—it’s based on His love.
