Choosing Kindness and Grace

Choosing Kindness and Grace

Ephesians 4:31–32 (NLT)

Monday, August 25, 2025

For men struggling with anger or resentment, seeking to replace bitterness with compassion and forgiveness.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

Remove from me the bitterness, anger, and harsh words that weigh down my heart. Teach me to walk away from rage and to clothe myself in kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness, just as You have forgiven me through Christ.

When I feel wronged, help me not to react with resentment but to respond with grace. Make me quick to release offense, slow to anger, and eager to build others up with words that bring healing and peace.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NLT)

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
