Do a New Thing in Me

Do a New Thing in Me

Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV)

Saturday, July 19, 2025

For the man haunted by past mistakes or held back by old seasons—this prayer asks God to bring clarity and renewal.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

I’ve spent too much time looking back—at failures, at regrets, at things I can’t change. But You tell me to forget the former things, because You are doing something new. I want to see it. I want to be part of it.

So today, I release what was. I give You my past—both the wounds and the pride. Clear my vision, Lord. Help me stop clinging to what’s dead and start walking toward what You’re making new.

Make a way in my wilderness. Let streams of Your Spirit flow through the dry places of my heart. Do a new thing in me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV)

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
