For the man holding on to anger or hurt—this prayer gives him the strength to release the grievance and walk in forgiveness like Jesus did.

Heavenly Father,


You’ve forgiven me for more than I can count. Yet sometimes, I struggle to forgive those who’ve hurt me. I carry the offense, the wound, the bitterness. But Your Word calls me to something higher, to forgive as You forgave me.


So right now, I lay down the grievance. I release what I’ve been holding. Help me let go, not because they deserve it, but because You gave it freely to me. Teach me to love like You, to extend grace when it’s hard, and to choose peace over pride.


I want to be free from this weight. Help me forgive.


In Jesus’ name, Amen.
