Help Me Run Free

Help Me Run Free

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Tuesday, July 29, 2025

For the man weighed down by sin, distractions, or discouragement—this prayer equips him to drop the burden and run with renewed purpose.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

You’ve placed a race before me—a purpose to pursue, a life to live fully for You. But sometimes I feel tangled. Weighted down. Held back by things I know You’ve called me to release. Today, I throw them off.

I lay down the sin, the fear, the distraction, the shame—whatever slows me down. Help me run free. Run focused. Run faithful. Let me remember I’m not alone—You’ve surrounded me with others who’ve walked before me, and You run this race with me.

Give me perseverance to keep going. And when I stumble, help me rise again.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
