Let Me Rise in Your Light

Let Me Rise in Your Light

For the man who’s been hiding, shrinking, or sitting in the shadows—this prayer calls him to rise and reflect God’s light, even in darkness.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

There’s darkness all around—pain, confusion, fear, and noise. But You say to arise and shine, because Your light has come. You say that even in dark days, Your glory rises over me. I want to live like that’s true.

So I rise today—not in arrogance, but in obedience. Not in my own strength, but in the confidence of who You are in me. Let Your light shine through my words, my choices, my actions. Use me to bring light into dark places.

Don’t let me stay silent when You’ve called me to stand. I rise today—for You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Isaiah 60:1–2 (NIV)

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you.
