Root Me in You
Jeremiah 17:7–8 (NIV)
Saturday, July 26, 2025
For the man facing pressure or instability—this prayer helps him anchor his trust and identity in the God who never changes.

Heavenly Father,
I don’t want to be a man who only stands strong when life is easy. I want to be rooted, deep in You. Your Word says that when I trust You, I’ll be like a tree by the water, steady and fruitful even in the heat. So I put my confidence in You today.
When pressure comes, be my anchor. When things feel dry, be my stream. Help me grow roots that run deep, not in success, but in faith. Don’t let fear, drought, or delay pull me off track. Keep me steady, Lord.
Make me the kind of man who thrives no matter what season I’m in, because I’m planted in You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Jeremiah 17:7–8 (NIV)
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
