You Are My Fortress

You Are My Fortress

Psalm 18:2 (NIV)

Friday, July 25, 2025

For the man under pressure or feeling attacked—this prayer gives him language to find shelter and strength in God’s protection.

White Textured Paper

Heavenly Father,

You are my rock. My safe place. My defender. When the pressure hits and the battle rages, I don’t have to stand on my own, I can run to You. You shield me when I’m vulnerable. You surround me when I feel exposed. You are my stronghold.

I confess that sometimes I try to fight with my own strength. But today, I surrender that mindset. I take refuge in You. Be the wall around me, the peace inside me, and the strength that lifts me.

Even when storms rage, I will not fear. You are my fortress.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 18:2 (NIV)

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
