2 Corinthians 4:8–9 (NIV)

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:8–9 (NIV)
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
Struck Down But Not Destroyed

Paul doesn’t sugarcoat the Christian life. He describes real hardship, pressure, confusion, rejection, and painful hits. And yet, he makes one thing clear: none of it takes us out. Why? Because even when we are struck down, we are not destroyed. The presence of God doesn't remove the fight, it preserves us in the middle of it.
For men facing mental, emotional, or spiritual battles, this verse is a rally cry. Life may be heavy, but God’s hand holds you together. You may feel pushed to the edge, but you’re still standing. That alone is victory.
Today’s reminder: You may be bruised, but you’re not broken. Don’t quit.

Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
A Steady Mind, A Peaceful Heart
