For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Courage Over Fear
This verse is a reminder to men who feel fear creeping in. God didn’t give you a spirit of timidity. Fear is not from Him. Instead, His Spirit gives you power to stand strong, love to lead well, and self-discipline to master your thoughts and actions.
If you’ve been shrinking back from challenges, relationships, or calling, remember you are filled with His power. Self-discipline is also a gift from God – to control your words, your impulses, and your focus. Love tempers your power with compassion and humility.
Today, walk forward knowing you are not a man ruled by fear. You are filled with God’s Spirit of power, love, and self-control. Stand tall in your identity and lead boldly in whatever He has placed before you.
Power Over Fear
For the man battling fear who needs God’s Spirit to give him power, love, and self-discipline today.
