A Cheerful Heart

This verse is a reminder that joy isn’t just an emotion – it’s medicine for your soul. Life brings plenty of burdens, but God calls you to carry a cheerful heart even in the midst of struggle. Joy refreshes your spirit and strengthens those around you. It lifts heaviness and brings life to weary bones.

A crushed spirit dries up your strength, your hope, and your ability to lead well. As men, we often think seriousness equals strength, but God’s Word tells us that joy is part of true strength. Laughter, gratitude, and lightheartedness bring healing where worry and stress cause decay.

Today, choose joy. Let your heart be light in God’s promises. Smile more, laugh freely, and carry a cheerful heart that heals not only you but everyone God places in your path.
